And this isn't just about making a few tweaks. The goal today is to empower your mindset so that every decision you make and every goal you set moves you closer to the success you truly desire. So if you're ready to get intentional, challenge the status quo and achieve success on your own terms, then you're in the right place.

So grab your cup of coffee or your favorite beverage and let's dive into today's topic.

Speaker 1:

Welcome to the annual business checkup series. I am really excited to kick off this series with a focus on something that's at the core of everything I do empowering you to define what success means to you and helping you get your business aligned to make that a reality. And this process isn't just about creating systems or being intentional about how you mind your time. This process really involves your mindset. Now, if you're new here, let me give you a little context about why this episode matters so much, which is also why Mindset is the first episode in this series.

Speaker 1:

My mission is to help purpose-driven women like you align your businesses with your values so that you can make a bigger impact while enjoying the legacy you're building. That includes spending time with your family and friends while your business grows, but you can do all of that without overwhelm. My vision is to empower a thousand women to be more intentional with their time. No surprise, right? But I want you to achieve success on your own terms. We're not just building businesses here. We're redefining what sustainable success looks like, and that starts with your mindset. And that isn't just a buzzword or a fluffy concept. It's the foundation that supports every action you take in your business.

Speaker 1:

Without the right mindset, even the best strategies and systems won't lead you to the kind of success that you're aiming for. And let's be clear success isn't just about hitting financial goals. It's about building a business that's going to serve your spirituality while allowing you to create wealth, not just for yourself, but for others, and wealth is health and money. Now, I know that entrepreneurship it's tough. There are days when self-doubt creeps in, when you're tempted to compare your progress to others, or when you feel like giving up because nothing seems to be going right. I have been through all of these moments and even more, just like you. That's how I know that these are the moments when your mindset matters most. It's what keeps you grounded in your purpose and allows you to push through those challenges with clarity and confidence.

Speaker 1:

Now, one of the first steps in cultivating an empowered mindset is really understanding that your business should serve and support your values, not the other way around, and that's why, inside the Mighty Society membership, we focus on aligning your business with what truly matters to you, so that you can make decisions that fit the season your life is in, because that's very important. So I want this to be a reality and not something that's just written on a piece of paper. So let's start with three tips that are meant to help you align your business with your purpose. The first step is to get crystal clear on your core values. These are the principles that guide everything that you do in life, which dictates what you do in your business. It's basically like your North Star, so start by identifying the three to five values that are most important to you overall. Identifying the three to five values that are most important to you overall. For example, mine are faith, self and family, in that order. Your core values are the foundation that you need to build your business on. It will influence how you interact with your clients, how you make decisions and even the kind of culture you create, if you build your dream team, and they're not just words on a page. They should be the driving force behind every decision you make when your business operates in alignment with those core values, you'll find that your work feels more meaningful and you'll actually attract clients that feel the same way that you do, clients that feel the same way that you do. Then more opportunities will come your way, because those people will resonate with what you stand for.

Speaker 1:

Once you have your values, take time to reflect on how they show up in your business. Are your decisions and actions truly reflecting these values or is there a little bit of a disconnect? Actions truly reflecting these values or is there a little bit of a disconnect? For example, if one of your core values is family but you find yourself constantly working late hours, missing out on time with loved ones, there's a misalignment that you need to address right away. This reflection isn't just a one-time activity either. It's something that you need to revisit regularly, and I mean your values will stay the same for the most part, but as your business evolves, you need to make sure that your actions and decisions stay aligned with those values. If there is a disconnect, think about what you need to change to fix that. Sometimes it's about making small adjustments in how you manage your time or how you interact with your clients, and other times it might require more significant changes in your business model or even your strategy.

Speaker 1:

So inside the Mighty Society, there are tools like goal setting worksheets that will help you make sure your business goals and daily actions align with your core values. These worksheets are there to guide you through the process of really integrating your values into every aspect of your business. By focusing on what truly matters, you'll be able to build a business that feels authentic and fulfilling, because your actions revolve around your values. And when your business is aligned with your core values, you're not just working, you're building something that's an extension of who you are. This alignment not only leads to greater fulfillment for you, but it also helps you stay resilient when things get tough, because you're grounded in what's most important to you.

Speaker 1:

Now the second tip, as we've talked a little bit about goals, is, when you're setting your business goals, make sure they reflect your core values and your bigger purpose. This connection is what's going to keep you motivated and make sure that your actions are aligned with your long-term vision. Your goals shouldn't just be about growth for the sake of growing. They should be about moving you closer to the impact you want to make, to that vision that you have. Most importantly, they need to support the lifestyle you want to live.

Speaker 1:

It's really easy to get caught up in the hustle and then you feel pressure to set goals that are driven by external expectations, like hitting a certain revenue milestone or expanding your client base rapidly. But if those goals don't align with what truly matters to you and if you pursue them at the wrong time, you're going to find yourself feeling not only unfulfilled but overwhelmed, and that's even if you achieve those goals. That's why it's important to set goals that embody your personal values and reflect your definition of success and, most importantly, that they fit the season your life is in. When your goals are rooted in your values, they are more than just targets. It's like a roadmap to a life that's meaningful and aligned with who you are. For example, again, if one of your core values is family, then your business goals should allow you the flexibility to spend quality time with your loved ones being present in the moment. And if your bigger purpose is to make a positive impact on your community, maybe your goals need to reflect that by focusing on initiatives that drive social change.

Speaker 1:

But you still have to be selective. By setting goals that honor your values, you make sure that every step you take in your business moves you closer to a life that is not just fulfilling, but it's not just. You're busy all the time. This approach will help you stay motivated, but it also prevents burnout because you're working towards something that genuinely matters to you. So the goal setting worksheets inside the Mighty Society membership. They walk you through the process of setting those aligned, purposeful goals. There are also weekly planning pages in there to help you break these goals down into actionable steps, which will help you to stay focused and be intentional with the things that you do. With this and other resources inside of the membership, you're going to be able to create a clear, purpose-driven plan that supports both your business ambitions and the lifestyle you desire.

Speaker 1:

Now, after this is all said and done, you need to go to the next step, which is clarifying your values and then setting goals that align with those said values. But this requires you to have a daily routine that supports those goals, so you need an action plan. It's very easy to set big, ambitious goals, but if your daily actions aren't planned out in a way that you can take small, effective steps to achieve those goals, you are gonna struggle to make the progress that you want. So you need to start by assessing how you're currently spending your time. Are your daily activities moving you closer to where you want to go, or are you getting caught up in busy work that doesn't really matter? It's important for you to be intentional about your time. That's every task, every hour, it needs to be tied to the bigger goal. Every task, every hour, it needs to be tied to the bigger goal. And this is where a structured daily routine comes in. By creating a routine that prioritizes the important tasks, you can make steady progress toward your goal every single day. But this isn't just about cramming more into your already busy schedule. It's about focusing on the right things at the right time to get the results that you want.

Speaker 1:

And one effective practice that I highly recommend you start with is a daily routine. It sounds simple, but believe me when I say it sets the tone for your day. This can include activities like journaling, just having a cup of coffee while it's quiet, reading a few pages of a good book, or spending some time doing professional development. You basically can do anything that you want to help you fill up your cup. You've heard this before you can't pour from an empty cup. So the key is to create a routine that energizes you for the day and prepares you to tackle the day's challenges with focus and clarity. So in addition to those 90-day goal setting the pages in that workbook, there is another guide how to Create a Flexible Morning Routine and this will walk you through the process of building a morning routine that supports your goals and values, while allowing you the flexibility you need in your day-to-day life, because you get to determine how much time you spend in your routine. But by creating and sticking to a routine that reflects your goals and your values, you'll be able to work more efficiently, stay focused on what matters and ultimately make meaningful progress in your business, while taking care of things on the home front, because it's not just about being productive or getting things done, it's about minding your time.

Speaker 1:

So let me share a personal story to highlight the power of this process. When my goal was to grow my business revenue to replace the income from my day job, I was laser focused. It was really a big goal and I was scared to make this change. But this goal required strategic planning, strategic investments and a lot of long days and sleepless nights. During this part of my journey, I realized I needed to make some serious adjustments to reach my goal. While my original plan was solid, when I did my mid-year review, I saw some areas where I needed to shift my approach, and this was a real game changer. After that review, I was able to prioritize the right tasks, ultimately achieve my goal of replacing my part-time job income with my business revenue. To do this, I had to hire some very specific people to help me execute the parts of my plan that were areas of expertise I didn't have, because I wanted results and I knew I couldn't get that on my own. So I hired help to shorten the learning curve so that I can make progress and reach my goal by my deadline. And I did it.

Speaker 1:

This highlights the importance of not just setting goals, but reviewing your progress and adjusting your plan to fit the season of your life, and that's what I want for you. I want you to have a clear path forward and the confidence to pivot when you need to. I want you to have a clear path forward and the confidence to pivot when you need to. Without the right goals, a solid strategy and the right investments, even the best time management strategies are not going to help you get where you need to go. That's why the first step in the power process is so critical. When you set clear, intentional goals, you create a destination that will dictate where you need to spend your time, energy, basically all your resources. But here's the deal Setting goals and mastering your time is just the beginning. Inside of the Mighty Society membership, we take it further. You can find the tools, the resources and the community support that you need, not to just set goals, but to help you stay motivated when things get tough, because they will. Speaker 1:

So before we wrap up, let's do a recap of what we've talked about. We focused on the role that mindset plays in achieving sustainable growth in your business, and I talked about how important it is to define success on your own terms and then align your business with your core values and your bigger purpose. So here are the three key tips Get clear on your core values. This should guide every decision you make in your business. We talked about how you can identify these values and make sure they are consistently reflected in the decisions you make every day and the actions you take every day. And you need to make sure your goals are aligned with your values. Make sure that what you're doing is supporting the lifestyle that you want to live. When you set purpose-driven goals, you make sure that your efforts are meaningful and fulfilling for you. Then you need to build a daily routine that supports your goal. Success comes from consistent, intentional actions. That's why we talked about the importance of creating a structured daily routine that aligns with your goals and values. And again, this starts with how you start your day with that morning routine.
